The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an independent and autonomous body of Pakistan’s Federal Government that manages the state’s water and electricity utilities. It was established by an Act of Parliament after the country’s independence in 1958.

WAPDA owns Pakistan’s largest dams and actively controls and manages Pakistan’s commercial and domestic sectors’ demands and needs. It also intends to build five more multi-purpose dams to meet the growing power sector’s needs.

WAPDA aims to produce clean and hygienic energy that is affordable to Pakistanis, so that electricity rates can be reduced while keeping consumers’ needs in mind. The company has a nationwide independent network.

Field/Disciplines & Eligibility Criteria:

This WAPDA Internship Program for New Graduates is available in a variety of disciplines, including Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Human Resource & Administration, and Mass Communication & Media.

The duration of this Internship Program is 8 weeks. A total of 50 positions are available. Selected interns will be paid Rs. 10,000/- per month. Fresh and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The maximum age is 26 years old.

This Internship Program is open to candidates from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Ex-FATA.
