Bahria University (BU) is a public university in Islamabad, Pakistan, founded in 2000 by the Pakistan Navy on Shangri-La Road, Sector E-8/1. The university has campuses in both Karachi and Lahore.

It was established in 2000 by the Pakistan Navy and has semi-official status. In addition to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies, it offers programmes at BMDC (Bahria Medical and Dental College) in Karachi.
