HITEC University Introduction:

Leading private institution HITEC institution is located in Taxila Cantonment, Punjab, Pakistan. As a component of the Heavy Industries Taxila Education City (HITEC), HITEC University was created.

There were already preschools, elementary schools, and colleges on the campus. In conjunction with UET Taxila, the BS, BBA, and BS Islamic Studies in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering programmes were introduced in 2007. On November 17, 2009, the Punjab Government granted HITEC University its charter, and all of the students were moved to HITEC University.

The engineering, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, civil engineering, mathematics, Islamic studies, and business administration programmes at HITEC University are available at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

General Pervez Musharraf, who was the president at the time, presided over the inauguration event. The university established a new computer science department five years later, and in 2019 it established the Department of Civil Engineering.
