ENHANCING/IMPARTING DRIVING SKILLS OF WOMEN FOR OPERATION OF HTV SERVICES

(Buses, Trucks, Trailers, Cranes, and any type of Heavy Transport)

UNDER CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM OF KARACHI MOBILITY PROJECT (YELLOW LINE BRTS)

In reference to the advertisement published in leading newspapers on 1st August, 2024, vide advertisement no. INF-KRY2415-24, the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), Government of Sindh, under the World Bank-funded Karachi Mobility Project, has initiated a Women Bus Drivers Training Program exclusively for women and transgenders in Karachi from the Sindh province. Interested candidates who meet the criteria below are invited to apply for this capacity-building training course to enhance their driving skills.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A minimum of Matric/Intermediate qualification is required, along with good communication skills.
• Possessing a valid Motor Car/LTV driving license is mandatory.
• Any relevant Bus Driving experience is a plus (additional training will be provided).
• Applicants should be reliable and committed to learning.
• The duration of the training is 45 days.
