The King Edward Memorial University (KEMU) is a public medical university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The university was founded in 1860 and is named after King Edward VII.

Lahore Medical School was founded by the British Raj. The University of Dublin granted students at the Lahore Medical School “equal privileges as English school students” in 1868.

In 1871, the University established Mayo Hospital as an adjunct hospital to the existing Anarkali Dispensary. The College annexed the Punjab University the same year, and the University added Lady Aitchison Hospital as its second teaching hospital in 1887.

Following Pakistan’s independence, the university became the province’s only medical college, and in 2005 it received its own degree charter. Since then, it has grown to oversee seven referral hospitals, including Lady Willingdon Hospital.

KEMU is currently looking for Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Deputy Director QEC, Audio Visual Officers, Liaison Officers, Hardware Engineers, Assistant Registrars, Assistant Treasurers, Sub Divisional Officers, Assistant Purchase Officers, Personal Assistants, Sub Engineer Civil, Drivers, and Sweepers.
