College Introduction:

In Lahore, Pakistan, there is a university called Kinnaird College for Women (KCW). It is a liberal arts college for women. In 1913, the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission established Kinnaird.

The Church Mission Society and the Presbyterian Mission Church formed a partnership to support and manage the college in 1919. The institution relocated to its current campus on Jail Road in 1926. Over the years, it expanded there, and by 1939, it had expanded into a 20-acre (81,000 m2) facility.

The institution bears the name of Lady Marie Jane Kinnaird, a notable philanthropist of her era and a co-founder of the YWCA. When Kinnaird High School was nearby, the university was formed in the early 20th century. The college was accorded government degree institution status in 2002, and the Association of Kinnaird Colleges took over operation of the institution.
