College Introduction:

Pakistan’s Kinnaird College for Women (KCW) is a university located in Lahore. It’s a liberal arts university for women. In 1913, the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission established Kinnaird.

In order to finance and administer the institution, the Presbyterian Mission Church and the Church Mission Society formed a cooperation in 1919. The college relocated to its current location on Jail Road in 1926, and as it expanded there over time, it became a 20-acre (81,000 m2) campus by 1939.

The college bears the name of Lady Marie Jane Kinnaird, a prominent philanthropist of her era and co-founder of YWCA. Currently situated close to Kinnaird High School, the university was founded in the early 1900s. The college was designated as a government degree institution in 2002, and the Association of Kinnaird Colleges assumed operation of the college.
