CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR Role CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Utility Stores Corporation, a private limited company, operates the country’s largest retail chain network (with over 4000 locations). Our key aim is to provide high-quality consumer goods at lower prices than the competition. Qualifications and Experience Needed
Have a minimum of ten years of auditing experience and are a:
(a) a member of a professional accounting organisation; or
(b) an internal auditor who is certified; or
c) a fraud examiner who is certified; or
(d) an internal control inspector who is certified; or
(e) Possessing a master’s degree in finance from a Higher Education Commission-accredited institution. Connection with the Audit Committee that is successful. Ability to cultivate talent and assemble a high-performing team. Collaboration with the senior management team that is successful. Risk management and corporate governance at a strategic level. Understanding of the retail / FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Professional communication and presentation skills are exceptional.
1. The above position has a maximum age limit of 50 years. In the case of a highly trained and seasoned practitioner, however, the age limit would be relaxed.
2. The role will be solely on a contract basis for a term of three years, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory results.
