The Pakistan Medical Commission PMC, formerly known as the (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council), is a legal regulatory body in Pakistan that keeps an official register of medical practitioners.

Its primary function is to establish uniform minimum standards of basic and advanced qualifications in medicine and dentistry throughout Pakistan, as well as to control the entry of medical practitioners into the PMC register within Pakistan and to suspend or remove members as needed. It also, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission, establishes educational standards for medical colleges in Pakistan.

The PMC is looking for dynamic, qualified, and experienced professionals to serve as Member Examinations. According to the PMC Act 2022, the appointment will be for a four-year term.

BBS/BDS with postgraduate qualifications from a recognised institute and at least 15 years of experience in educational examination management are required for the position of Member Examinations.
