The Pakistan Military Academy, popularly known as PMA or PMA Kakul, is a training academy for Pakistani Army officers that was founded in 1947. It lies in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, near the village of Kakul.

It is Pakistan’s only academy dedicated to the conversion of cadets into army officers.

The PMA comprises 16 companies and four training battalions. Every year, around 2,000 invited guests from 34 countries visit the institution. The PMA sends cadets and commanders from many of Pakistan’s closest allies for advanced training in modern military doctrine.

PMA Long Course Introduction:

Regular commissioned officers of Combat and Combat Support Arms and Services are eligible to attend the PMA Long Course. The long course lasts two years and is broken into four six-month sessions. After two years of training, cadets graduate as Second Lieutenants.

PMA Long Course Batch 150 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates with the following qualifications may apply for this PMA Long Course 2022: Intermediate, Graduation (2 Years), Graduation (4 Years) B.A, BS, BBA, or BPA. Soldiers who are new to the Army and those who are currently serving in the Army are both eligible.

Candidates must have a minimum of 55 percent in FA/FSc. Candidates can apply for Pakistan Military PMA Long Course 150 if they have 60 percent in BA/BSc/BBA/BPA and 50 percent in Intermediate.

This recruitment is only open to unmarried male applicants from Pakistan, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan. The Join Pakistan Army website, www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk, has all the necessary information for candidates.
