WAPDA Introduction:

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan in charge of the state’s water and power utilities. It was established in 1958 by an act of parliament following the country’s independence.

WAPDA owns Pakistan’s largest dams and actively controls and operates the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors’ demands and needs. It also intends to build five more multi-dimensional dams to meet the growing demands of the power sector.

WAPDA’s goal is to develop neat and clean energy that is affordable to Pakistanis in order to reduce power tariffs while keeping consumers in mind. The company has a self-governing network that spans the entire country.

Candidates from all over the country are encouraged to apply; however, selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan. On a contract basis, WAPDA is looking for an OT Assistant, Junior Store Keeper, Deputy Director Vigilance, Naib Qasid, and Chowkidar.

Eligibility Criteria:

Army Retired Officers are eligible to apply for Deputy Director Vigilance positions. Candidates for other positions must have a Middle, Matriculation, and Relevant Diploma, as well as experience in the relevant domain. The age limit is set at 18 years old minimum and 30 years old maximum. In these positions, experience will be preferred because merit will be followed and ensured by management.
